WE LOVE OUR WORK. Communicates and confers with General Manager on a regular basis. Keeps General Manager apprised of departmental activities, issues of concern as well as financial performance.Has overall responsibility for management of all components of the hotel operations including front office, reservations, housekeeping, retail center, business center, exercise room, property laundry, guest laundry and meeting rooms. As well as Food & Beverage Operations, Banquet and Event Operations and Facilities Maintenance.Has full responsibility for meeting EBITDA, profitability and other operating/financial objectives.Confers with and regularly reports to General Manager to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives.Implements and monitors controls are designed to assure full compliance with federal, state, corporate and property mandates.Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. By employing yield management techniques, maximizes room revenue.Ensures that all hotel rooms and hotel public areas are in excellent condition at all times. Oversees development and implementation of capital expenditure projects related to areas of responsibility.Directs and coordinates formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations to maximize returns on investments and to increase productivity.Must be able to interact effectively and positively across departmental lines. Must be a team player. BRING US YOUR BEST. Bachelor's (B.A /B.S.) or equivalent preferred. Minimum of five years experience in hotel management. Must be computer literate and able to use at a minimum Microsoft Excel and Word. Must be proficient in front desk systemsThree to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel and WordAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces STAY IN THE GAME.
