Job DescriptionPosition Summary
The Director of Housekeeping Task Force manages and coordinates division-wide efforts in the areas of housekeeping standard operating procedures for both The Little Nell and Limelight Hotel brands. As a key member of the team, this person will collaborate with executive leadership and property teams on the development and execution of housekeeping processes and procedures, support opening new hotels, the training of new housekeeping leaders, and be a resource for all properties as needed. This role is designed for a project management mindset combined with an extensive background in managing housekeeping in luxury hotels. This position reports to the Director of Openings & Transitions.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $120,000 - $168,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to represent brand priorities and positioning, works to prepare housekeeping operation training program and SOPs for new and existing hotels
• Responsible for task force, traveling to oversee housekeeping operations, leading a team of housekeeping professionals, and maintaining the resort/hotel reputation for quality and excellence
• Lead and motivate housekeeping professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness
• Be a key resource to housekeeping operations, including room preparation, linen management, and waste disposal, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks, and consistency throughout the portfolio
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and maintain the brands reputation for excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services
• Maintain accurate records and reports, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive business growth
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address any issues or concerns
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining the brands reputation for quality and excellence

Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required
• 7 years’ experience in luxury hotel housekeeping management required
• 3 years in a leadership role preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Extensive knowledge of luxury hospitality operations, including housekeeping trends and best practices
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Strong track record of success in translating organizational strategy to business plans and execution, including building business cases, gaining internal/external support, and directing results-oriented implementation
• Strong business acumen; proven success in collaborating with business leaders across organizational lines to ensure a solutions-focused approach to supporting achievement of corporate business objectives
• Excellent leadership skills; proven ability to collaborate and develop relationships with associates at all levels and to drive results in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Ability to be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
• Regularly work in adverse conditions and requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
• Job may be performed indoors and outdoors with visits to construction sites
• Frequent travel to jobsites is required
