Director of Human Resources, Retail
As the Director of Human Resources for Retail at Skechers, you'll lead HR operations for our rapidly expanding U.S. retail division, reporting to the VP, HR Americas. Based in our Manhattan Beach office, you'll develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with our company's goals and drive our growth as we open new stores across the country.

In this key leadership role, you'll: 

Lead a team of 6 Field HRBPs partnered with 9 Regional Sales Managers, serving over 600 stores and growing 

Collaborate closely with retail leadership to drive performance and foster a positive company culture 

Shape and execute HR strategies crucial to Skechers' expanding retail division 

Ensure best practices in talent management, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development 

Contribute to the HR Americas team, working alongside colleagues from Canada and LATAM 

Your strategic vision and leadership will significantly impact our U.S. retail operations as we continue to grow our footprint nationwide. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

Develop and implement HR strategies that support retail business objectives 

Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development 

Drive employee engagement and cultural initiatives across the retail network 

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational excellence 

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: 

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in HR or related field preferred 

10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role within retail 

Proven record of training and developing people for promotions within the organization 

Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR best practices 

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills 

Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals 

Experience with HRIS and HR analytics; Workday knowledge preferred 

SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred 

Global mindset and desire to work in a diverse, international environment 

Spanish language skills a plus 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Travel within the US; up to 25% 

In-office position with some WFH; relocation assistance may be available 

Strong analytical skills with a focus on proactive reporting and insights 

Ability to summarize complex information and present strategic recommendations 

Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, growing retail environment 

$150k-$190k- ANNUALLY
