This leadership role requires someone who is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for both guests and team members.

Job Description

As the Director of HR, you will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, training, employee relations, and performance management. You’ll collaborate closely with the Executive Committee, offering strategic HR support and leadership, while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and performance.Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, along with managing employee records and compensation plans.Training & Development: Implement training programs to equip team members with the skills and knowledge to succeed.Labor Relations: Manage union relationships, including grievances, negotiations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.Operational Strategy: Align HR goals with business objectives and support financial goals, including controlling labor costs and managing the HR budget.Team Leadership: Coach managers on creating a high-morale, productive environment and ensure performance evaluations and development opportunities are in place.

Proven track record in employee engagement and talent development.Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.In-depth knowledge of employment laws, safety procedures, and HR best practices.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and motivate teams across all levels.Expertise in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and hospitality industry knowledge.
