Summary:
The Director of Huntington Family Wealth is a member of the Wealth Management Leadership Team responsible for defining and leading the implementation of a comprehensive strategy for delivering customized advice and services to institutions and clients of the Huntington Private Bank with significant wealth and complexity
Location: Columbus, OH - Chicago, IL - Detroit, MI - Minneapolis, MN - Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangements: In office
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Lead a team of professionals to deliver customized advice and services including sophisticated investment strategies, trust administration, philanthropic, trust, and estate planning, and custom credit and lifestyle banking solutions to ensure successful outcomes across generations.
+ Create a private business advisory and transition practice to deliver value to business owners in partnership with the Commercial Bank, Regional Banking, and Capstone Partners.
+ Partner on new business acquisition and retention/deepening of existing relationships.
+ Be the face of the Huntington Private Bank brand to external and internal centers of influence, including Client and Centers of Influence events, Huntington Board of Directors, Huntington Executive Leadership Team, Commercial Bank, Regional Presidents, and Capstone Partners.
+ Ensuring advice and services are delivered effectively and consistently across geographies.
+ Develop an “advice lab” with marketing materials/publications to increase the visibility of the Huntington Private Bank as national experts and thought leaders.
+ Work closely with the Director of Financial Planning & OCR to ensure the team and Huntington advisors serving the entire wealth continuum have the necessary tools and continuous training to effectively and successfully deliver advice and services to clients.
+ Collaborate with Wealth Management leaders to develop products and sales strategies to grow the business.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred (JD, CPA)
+ Over 10 years of experience working with clients whose net worth exceeds $10 million – individuals, families, private business owners of mid-large sized corporations, and institutions (endowments, foundations, family office
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Senior level wealth management leadership experience
+ Expert understanding of business succession, transaction advisory, estate, legacy, philanthropy and trust planning, and financial planning, including applicable legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
+ Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
+ Effective sales skills with proven organic growth track record
+ Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrix management, team-oriented environment
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
+ High net worth and ultra-high net worth strategy and integration with the entire wealth continuum including Consumer and Mass Affluent clients
+ Travel required

Compensation Range:
$170,000-$350,000 Annual Salary
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
