Director of In-Home Services

$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS
We are searching for a full-time Director of In-Home Services to oversee the Adult Family Care and Home Assistance Program (HAP) programs . The hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Director is responsible for managing all functions of the programs, including: managing a 24 hour on-call system, stakeholder relationships, financial management, marketing and quality improvement activities.
Duties and Responsibilities :
+ Provide both individual and team supervision to staff.
+ Provide individual supervision to the Supervisors and Support Staff .
+ Manage all aspects of AFC and HAP programs.
+ Develop policies and procedures appropriate to program needs.
+ Ensure coordination and integration of programs to respond to community needs and provide quality service to clients.
+ Fulfill reporting requirements for MassHealth and all other payor entities.
+ Oversee fiscal aspects including billing, board reports, budget preparation and required financial reports.
+ Coordinate and engage staff in a marketing plan, which promotes continual growth of programs.
+ Evaluate program and staff performance on an on-going basis.
+ Develop new initiatives to respond to community needs.
+ Participate/institute on-going CQI activities, including maintaining Council on Accreditation certification.
+ Coordinate and facilitate MDT meetings.
+ Participate in community meetings/events to increase visibility of the AFC and HAP programs.
+ Develop effective relationships with referral providers, including DDS, Elder Service organizations, SCOs, etc.
+ Analyze data to identify trends and make programmatic decisions.
+ Implement new technologies to improve program operations, increase efficiencies and promote staff accountability including those required by state or federal regulation.
+ Respond to reasonable expectations of the Vice President of Care Coordination and/or agency.
Education and Experience:
+ A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of recent professional healthcare experience working with elders or adults.
OR
+ A master’s degree in a relevant healthcare discipline may be substituted for two of the required five years of work experience. At least one of those years must have been spent in an administrative role.
