About the team:

Join the FIS Automated Finance team as a Director of Infrastructure (Network Director Senior). We are building a dynamic team to shape the future of AP & AR automation, and we are looking for talented pros to join us! You will be working on cutting-edge finance tools and make a meaningful impact at scale.

Note: We have a hybrid work environment in our Atlanta office unless the role or business dictates otherwise.

What you will be doing:

People Management Responsibilities: Around 12+ Direct Reports. Leads development of innovation and strategic direction in application theories/principle concepts in data network design, configuration, administration, maintenance and/or support.Develops and implements standards, procedures and processes for the network operations function.Projects long-range requirements for data networks in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function as well as business function managers.Assigns personnel to various projects and directs their activities.Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies/procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.Resolves issues and contributes to the development of the data network function.Leads and develops network analysts and other technical personnel to ensure career growth and achievement of organizational goals, including interim and annual performance reviews.Manages work efforts of supervisors/individual contributors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay reviews.Researches and evaluates new technologies, products and techniques that could meet future data network needs.Defines and negotiates service level agreements for data network operations.May involve company-hosted, Web-enabled solutions or may include project-based jobs in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.Participates in disaster recovery/business continuity activities as needed.Roles can have an internal or external client focus.Other related duties assigned as needed.
 

What you will need:

Cloud Experience: Prefer Azure, but also AWS Cloud services.Experience in financial services systems, banking systems, credit card merchant systems. Strong background in managing to regulatory standards, info sec standards, PCI, GDPR. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Typically requires 10 years of relevant professional experience or a combination of experience and advanced education and 6 years of supervising technical employees.Broad knowledge of network design, configuration, operations and administration with strong leadership skillsKnowledge of network technologies, i.e., routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, network and routing protocols, DNSKnowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architectureKnowledge of data network architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocolsExcellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributorsWillingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resourcesExcellent decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skillsIs resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideasProven project management skillsDemonstrated customer-focused leadership ability
