Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Director of Infrastructure Governance. The Director of Infrastructure Governance will be instrumental in development, implementation and support of IT service management processes on the ServiceNow platform along with leading infrastructure project management office. As a leader of IT Infrastructure projects, you will be providing oversight and strategic direction in managing multiple complex projects, adhering to technology standards and managing the full project management lifecycle. This role requires the ability to focus on the bigger picture by applying the right mix of strategic and operational discipline. What you will do: 

Service Strategy: Develop and implement IT service management strategic vision that align with organizational goals Develop and own the Service Management systems roadmap, including ServiceNow capability long-range plan and strategic improvements. Partners with broader D&IT team to drive process, workflow automation and integration Process Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and improvement of IT service management processes, including incident, service request, problem, knowledge, change, capacity, asset and quality assurance using ITIL v4 practices. Developing standards, metrics, OKRs and KPIs Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that support business objectives Project Management Leadership: Lead a team of Project Managers that are responsible for dozens of IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery Lead a team of project managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, and aligning IT infrastructure initiatives with the IT PMO and the company's strategic goals IT Infrastructure governance, risk, compliance and audit: establishing policies, procedures, and standards to manage IT operations effectively while ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and mitigate risks Total cost of ownership management. Understanding, managing and optimizing all the costs associated with owning and operating IT infrastructure throughout their lifecycle Manage, mentor, and develop the team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their objectives

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, ITILv4, or other relevant certifications 12+ years of experience in IT service management and project management, with at least 8+ years in a dynamic infrastructure leadership role Strong leadership and team management skills Direct experience and/or oversight in service and project management tools and methodologies like ServiceNow, Kanban, MS Projects, Teams In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud technologies Strong customer/employee centric mindset and ability to empathize with end-user experience challenges Strong technical/strategic appetite to think about infrastructure as DEX, DUX and not be a legacy thinker Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proven process and operations mindset; establish and drive outcomes to critical KPIs, comprehensive process and policy foundation Ability to take charge and orchestrate work, facilitate decisions, and collaborate with infrastructure leadership to drive the actions necessary to achieve desired results Ability to lead, collaborate, influence, and coordinate activities in a cross functional, team-oriented environment to deliver technology applications or technical products Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience and/or oversight across these technologies or similar: ServiceNow, Windows OS, Cisco Network, Azure Cloud, M365 Experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure environment Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies Experience in budget management and financial planning.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,000 - $179,000 + bonus in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
