Director of Integrity Services

 

The Pipeline Data Solutions Division at MISTRAS is a recognized leader in delivering comprehensive pipeline inspection, data management, integrity management, and software solutions for the oil and gas pipeline industry. Our Integrity Management group provides a suite of professional services that include pipeline integrity assessments, risk analysis, data conversion, data migration, and consulting, helping our clients navigate the complexities of pipeline integrity management. The position of Director, Integrity Services is tasked with development, managing, and leading the Integrity Services team’s consulting services efforts.

Major Responsibilities: 

Manage and direct integrity team Mentor staff, team training, and professional development support Manage and grow a client portfolio (specific financial responsibilities are established each calendar year) Manage team budget and forecast financial goals Provide and ensure quality assurance of team deliverables Achieve billable revenue goals at an individual and team levels Establish an industry presence by conference attendance, and presenting white papers Oversee activities Provide education opportunities Approve time and expense Support of clients with the requirements of Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations: 49 CFR 192, Subpart O, Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management, 49 CFR 192, Subpart, P, Gas Distribution Integrity Management, 49 CFR 195.452, Integrity Management in High Consequence Areas Liquids spill analysis HVL analysis Potential Impacts Radius Class Location Indexing algorithms Probabilistic algorithms Line pipe and facilities Overseeing other integrity assessments, such as corrosion growth, strain, fatigue, fitness for service, etc as required Assessment planning consulting and strategies Partner with Compliance Team in IMP development and implementation and projects Technical report development supporting Integrity Team projects, Compliance Team projects, and Data Management Team projects Partner with Compliance, Data Management, and Software Teams in multi-sector projects Plan and manage team resources Budget management and forecasting Review and approval of pre-bill invoices Manage scope and deliverables Client interface and management Sales and marketing team support Proposal development and cost estimates Sales meetings and presentations Conference attendance Support internal clients Support company strategic initiatives Act as a SME for company software initiatives Support operational and quality control improvement projects Support strategic planning and other business initiatives Develop and implement continuing education Support the Integrity Plus Data Management, Compliance, Software, Accounting, and Human Resources departments as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering degree or similar, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree a plus Minimum of 10 years’ experience in integrity management Previous management and project management experience A demonstrable knowledge of the PHMSA/DOT referenced standards is required Demonstrable strong communication skills (verbal and written) Technical writing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Previous experience with GIS, spill simulation software, air dispersion modeling software, and risk analysis software Ability and willingness to travel Must possess strong leadership skills
