Job SummaryThe Director of IT Business Operations is a strategic role supporting the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and IT leadership team. The individual will be responsible for driving organizational goals, managing IT strategy, facilitating decision-making, and aligning IT initiatives with business objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting transformation and change management initiatives, tracking decisions, ensuring effective meetings, and managing projects.
The ideal candidate will assist in strategic planning and execution, operationalize decisions, provide leadership to IT teams, engage with stakeholders, manage key projects, and measure performance. They will also assist in budget and resource allocation.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Assist the CIO in developing and executing IT strategies and plans.
Facilitate the translation of strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth.
Collaboration with leadership, finance, and human resources to support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process. Develops and maintains reporting to track achievement against plan.
Operationalize Decisions
Translate ideas and discussions into initiatives.
Ensure that decisions are implementable.
Ensure follow-up on unresolved discussions and decisions.
Leadership and Team Management:
Provide leadership and direction to IT teams, promoting an environment of high performance and continuous improvement.
Foster a culture of innovation and agility within the IT department.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a liaison between the CIO and other stakeholders, including department heads, Business Unit partners, and vendors.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their perspectives are considered in IT decisions.
Performance Measurement:
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services.
Provide regular reports to the CIO on IT performance and strategic progress.
Budget and Resource Allocation:
Assist in the development and management of the IT budget.
Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT management.
Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage statistical analysis and financial modeling.
Experience in producing senior management-level reports
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Superior group facilitation, interviewing, and influence skills.
Ability to travel as needed (approx. 10%)

The Compensation range for this role is 118,026.90 - 236,054.40 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.Click here to learn about Epiq's Benefits.
