\nAs a Director of Laundry at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, you would be responsible for directing laundry and/or uniform staff to ensure a constant supply of clean, quality linens and/or uniforms for the hotel in accordance with hotel, Corporate and Department of Health standards. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nEnsures hotel, corporate and off-site customers’ administrative requirements, meet deadlines though proper production of reports, budgeting, inventory of uniforms, chemicals, dry cleaning supplied and hotel linens including record keeping of guest laundry and dry cleaning.\nSelects and supervises all laundry and valet staff including training on Hilton standards through Performance and Excellence. \nEnsures staff training on a business demand and occupancy levels ensures linens are properly distributed to all the customers in a timely fashion.\nSupervision of staff including coaching counseling and discipline when work measures are not met frequently evaluate team members performance.\nOrganizes and conducts departmental meetings and attends other monthly meetings.\nEnsures equipment is in working order and is operated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications. Inspections to ensure that Preventative Maintenance Program is effectively implemented.\nOperates department with OSHA, EPA and other governmental requirements and guidelines and corrects minor equipment problems.\nManages departmental financial processes of forecasting, budgeting, purchasing, payroll and inventory control.\nInterviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.\n\nThe annual salary range for this role is $84,000 - $105,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
