Associa is currently looking for a Director of Maintenance and Field Services to join our team in Lehi, UT.The Director of Maintenance and Field Services has P&L ownership and accountability to include budgeting, forecasting, and profitability. This role oversees the maintenance personnel team and is responsible for driving sales, delivering services, business development, and the overall success of the division.

How will you make an impact?

The Director of Maintenance and Field Services helps the company grow by:

\n

\n\nMaintain and enhance current vendor program, including establishing new services and vendor relationships to support new services, and sustaining existing relationships.\nExecute capital and reserve study projects, in addition to evaluating problematic systems, determining what repairs need to be performed, and preparing cost estimates.\nWork in partnerships with community managers to provide Board of Directors with funding recommendations on capital and reserve projects.\nSolicit proposals, coordinate site walks (as needed), and development of bid comparison matrix for presentation to the Board of Directors.\nReview of payments and invoice processing as it relates to vendor contracts, including review of all project change orders.\nOversee internal scheduling and billing team.\nPurchase and deliver materials/supplies as needed by maintenance team and property managers\nResponsible for discipline and corrective action of the maintenance team\nConduct and document monthly safety meetings with maintenance team\nManage company vehicle fleet services and maintenance\n\n Requirements\n3 – 5 years of directly related or closely related experience \nCPO certification strongly suggested\nStrong capabilities in bidding/estimating repair and maintenance projects\nKnowledge of Exactimate and/or similar software preferred\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an intermediate level.\nKnowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of HVAC, including codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\n
