AMST is seeking a Director of Manufacturing who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

The following is a list of key responsibilities assigned to the position:

Directs manufacturing operations of high mix, low volume, highly complex products in support of business strategies, goals, and objectives.Able to effectively communicate and coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, quality, sales, finance, human resources, and other leadership to align efforts.Incorporates the organizational strategy and plans for operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs in manufacturing processes.Monitors production metrics and implement process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency.Maximize facility utilization to increase production.  Participate in workforce or labor relations and planning activities.Implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes.Reports to divisional president.Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-functions and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.Develop subordinate managers, supervisors and area leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field Required.8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Excellent knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling.Proficiency with ERP systems.Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Able to drive change and continuous improvement.Experience implementing and managing multiple shift operations.

Targeted Annualized Compensation: $130k- $150k
