We are looking for a talented_ **_Director of Manufacturing Operations_** _to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, and driving operational excellence across our facility._

**Schedule:** 1 st shift 6am – 2:30p
**Location:** Aurora, IL
**Terms:** Direct Hire w/ unlimited PTO
**Responsibilities**
+ Introduce new technologies, processes, and automation to improve operations.
+ Lead and develop the manufacturing team to maintain high performance, engagement, and retention.
+ Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that support business goals.
+ Manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure on-time product delivery.
+ Track performance, quality, and improvements using key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and cut costs.
+ Ensure all products meet quality standards.
+ Create and manage budgets, finding opportunities to reduce costs.
+ Oversee capital and operating budget preparation and look for cost-saving opportunities.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
+ Refining systems to reduce errors and increase productivity using methods like Lean or Six Sigma.
+ Encourage teamwork and accountability within the team.
+ Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities to keep operations running smoothly.
+ Ensure a safe work environment with regular safety checks and maintenance programs.
+ Perform other tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
+ 5-7 years of Manufacturing experience preferably within chemical manufacturing.
+ Proven leadership experience with expertise in manufacturing operations, strategy implementations for process improvements, KPI management and people management.
+ Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other improvement methods.
