The focus of this position is to support the growth of key vertical segments by executing structured, impactful marketing programs that drive leads and revenue, and ultimately, market share. They will work in tandem with sales leaders and teams to drive channel and business objectives, determine marketing success factors and influence strategy, evaluate revenue and growth opportunities, and work within cross-functional teams as appropriate. Marketing programs may include digital marketing, thought leadership and content, trade show/event marketing, email marketing, brand and awareness efforts, sales promotions, product marketing and lead generation programs.
Job Description:
The position will focus on the marketing strategy and execution for Commercial and Corporate business with focus on mid to Enterprise audiences within the Public Sector and Transit segment with the flexibility to expand to other segments. The position requires a results-oriented individual who can quickly and effectively respond to the ever-changing needs of the business. The ideal candidate is an established marketing professional with proven, hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing programs, tools and pitch collateral, events, and tradeshow management, thought leadership, account-based efforts, and communication support. Experience in the Public Sector is helpful.
Responsibilities include:
Develop segment industry marketing strategy including industry marketing plan and sales playbook including market dynamic for data and analytics trends and needs of the industry
Develop marketing programs including email, digital advertising/marketing, social media, webinars, collateral and other stand marketing and advertising related tactics
Proactively work with U.S. Bank and Elavon’s segment sales team to position company as a leader in the Mass Transit and Government industry
Develop initiatives to support growth and retention for existing accounts within the U.S. Bank and Elavon portfolio
Develop successful thought-leadership strategies and industry-specific content to support pipeline development and growth
Delivers impactful lead gen campaigns with immediate and measurable ROI
Communicates strategy at the business unit management level and gains buy-in
Analyzes campaign metrics and makes any necessary adjustments; develops campaign/program dashboard monitoring results; determines revenue contribution; provides overall reporting metrics – monthly, quarterly and YTD.
Research, develop and execute industry business plans including market sizing, addressable market opportunity, competitive positioning and more
Maintain high level of industry expertise and keep current on important industry trends and evolution
Effectively manage third-party vendors and contractors for design, copywriting and content creation
Create dynamic, personalized journeys and engaging digital strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Enterprise B2B marketing experience a plus
Public sector background a plus
7-10 years of proven demonstrated, progressive experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing segmentation strategies.
Strong understanding of campaign and CRM systems (salesforce, marketing cloud, ABM platforms)
Broad experience/understanding of all facets of marketing. B2B marketing and bank and/or payment experience a plus
Skill in messaging and value props for a variety of audiences
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
