As Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, attract new guests, and elevate the overall guest experience. The Director of Marketing will oversee all marketing planning and execution strategies for the resort. The Director of Marketing shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the La Cantera Resort and Spa Culture as well as promoting La Cantera Resort and Spa as both the Destination and Employer of Choice! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities. Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals. Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently. Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product lines etc. Monitor progress and submit performance reports. Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications. Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements. Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects. Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients to build strategic partnerships. Manage accounts, staffing, and PR teams. Sourcing ad placements and negotiating vendor pricing. Collaborate with Benchmark Resorts & Hotels' corporate marketing team to leverage cooperative marketing opportunities. Social media management/campaign strategies. Content curation and photography/video acquisition. Channel reporting and KPI analysis. Ability to plan and support meetings and event advertising/campaigns. Qualifications Bachelor or Masters Degree. Marketing expert with 10+ years of proven experience and knowledge. Excellent leadership and organization skills. Highly analytical. Dynamic communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively distill complex information into easily understandable terms. Up to speed with marketing trends and current online marketing techniques and best practices. Thorough knowledge of digital analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, Looker Studio, etc.), Google AdWords, and Adobe Creative Suite. Customer-oriented approach with aptitude. Hospitality Marketing Experience, preferably with a complex resort. Graphic Design Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc. Social media management/campaign strategies. Content curation and photography/video acquisition. Channel reporting and KPI analysis. Ability to plan and support meetings and event advertising/campaigns.
