As a Director of Marketing Strategy, you’ll play a key leadership role on the Stand Together marketing and communications team and be responsible for leading the development and delivery of comprehensive short, medium, and long-term marketing strategies that advance and accelerate organizational priorities. Your success will rely on your ability to successfully collaborate with experts and stakeholders across the Stand Together community to build integrated MarComms frameworks that combine key insights, objectives, and messaging strategies to inform audience journeys and leverage “seize the moment” opportunities. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and the driver of execution for MarComms strategies for our Future of Work portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can translate complex ideas into actionable plans, and is a passionate advocate for workforce innovation. In doing so, you can help shift how our country empowers people in the workplace, unlocking their potential for individuals, employers and society as a whole.How You Will ContributeStrategic Planning and Campaign Execution:Develop comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies that advance defined business objectives for diverse audiences.Partner with analytics team to scope audiences and identify research/testing opportunities to refine messaging and optimize engagement. Build end-to-end audience journeys that incorporate creative, messaging and engagement strategies that ensure consistency and maximize desired outcomes.Partner with creative and communications team to develop compelling storytelling approaches.Develop investment proposals for marketing campaigns that employ sound decision-making framework and testing/experimentation methodologies where appropriate.Monitor market landscape and audience changes/trends and adjust plans as needed.
Communication And Collaboration:Develop communication touchpoints with key stakeholders to ensure an effective two-way flow of knowledge and feedback.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the final marketing product, translating insights into innovative and agile solutions that leverage opportunities and solve problems quickly and effectively.Liaise with external partners where appropriate to amplify our work.Manage agency resources, including SOW development, project briefings, expectation management and results monitoring.
Leadership:Act as a thought partner and influencer by driving team alignment around marketing strategies and objectives by promoting a clear and inspiring vision and logic models.Exercise a leadership style that conveys confidence and gains respect from others, keeping leaders informed about key issues and elevating gaps/opportunities when appropriate.Operate as a champion for the which includes modeling and applying our guiding principles in business and interpersonal interactions and inspiring others to do the same.
Reporting And Stewardship:Partner with the intelligence and capabilities teams to develop qualitative and quantitative KPIs that effectively measure the impact and success of marketing strategies and activations.Establish and implement tracking, analysis and reporting of results and critical learnings for quarterly assessments.Provide monthly strategic updates that effectively communicate impact and program progress.Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and resource allocation.What You Will Bring10+ years of professional experience in marketing or related fields, demonstrating progressive career growthProven success in translating organizational vision and high-level objectives into actionable multi-channel MarComms plans with clear goals and KPIs that measure impact.Demonstrated experience building B2B and B2C audience journeys and developing complementary and impactful marketing products and messaging/content strategies.A leader and team player with experience inspiring and collaborating with cross-functional teams in support of shared business priorities while positively influencing the work of peers.Track record of success in navigating complex and matrixed organizational structures and driving alignment for high impact decisions.Superior written and verbal communication skills.
