Mackenzie Stuart are collaborating with a leading Skilled Nursing company who specialise in the delivery of nursing and rehabilitation services in independent living, personal care, and skilled nursing settings. Our focus is to find a Director of Nursing to lead team in delivering a high-level of care and support to the patients and communities that they serve.

Role Overview:

The Director of Nursing will oversee the Nursing program for the facility, focusing on ensuring an exceptional level of care is delivered to patients. This role requires a leader with extensive knowledge on policies and procedures alongside a passion for ensuring that individuals are cared for to a high-level.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversight of all Nursing programs, regulatory compliance and performance managementDeliver clinical care through the nursing program, performing resident assessments, evaluating changes in care needs and completing individualised care plansProvide strategic leadership by managing, directing, and monitoring the nursing team

Qualifications:

3+ years of previous experience in a long-term care nursing leadership positionRegistered Nurse in West VirginiaExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong understanding about relevant State policies and proceduresPassionate about delivering quality care to patients
