We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director of Nursing to join a dynamic team at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. The Director of Clinical Nursing ensures standard clinical practices of care are provided for each resident to optimize positive resident outcomes. Is knowledgeable on Federal and State Regulations and guides staff to ensure compliance. Collaboratively works with facility stakeholders. Monitors appropriate use and coding of PDPM, Managed Care Contracts, I-SNPs etc. to maximize financial outcomes. Provides guidance on stewardship of equipment and supplies, staffing levels to appropriate PPDs. Ensures facility secures private resident information, oversees medical records process, nursing documentation, use of electronic medical record. Leads the use of ancillary services. Active team member of emergency preparedness and response, compliance teams, QAPI and safety teams.

Qualifications
Education:
RN currently licensed in Minnesota and in good standing Any additional training with focus on clinical management, system integration or gerontology preferred.Experience:
Experienced as a health care leader for at least five years, specifically in skilled nursing, home care, clinical and/or acute care setting. Knowledge of legal and regulatory healthcare requirements.Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates must demonstrate experience, strong leadership in managing multi-level health care in a campus setting as well as knowledge of service integration concepts, clinical analytics and community health. Desired candidates will have experience in and commitment to: Building a strong team focused on providing a high quality of care for the customer's well-being Establishing and monitoring best practices and clinical/outcome analytics Integrating holistic clinical programs within the campus, company and community Coordinating continued quality and program improvement Educating staff on best practices, holistic health and current trends and treatments Maintaining high clinical performance and quality Personal growth and education Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing department functions with special emphasis on compliance with Federal and State regulations. Knowledge of the scope of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrated abilities to participate in and collaborate with groups. Ability to positively manage and communicate change and to model appropriate behaviors to staff and others. High level of commitment to and success with effective customer service skills.
