**15750BR** **Title:** Director of Nursing **Department/Cost Center:** 603 - Nursing Professional Development **Job Description:** Measure, monitor, adjust, and control to ensure that the Magnet Program meets or exceeds the standards of nursing excellence that are in alignment with the Magnet Recognition Program. Serves as the organizations Magnet Recognition Program expert and coordinator for application, interim reporting, documentation, and appraisal process. Implements and maintains organizations internal nursing career advancement program. Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nurse driven outcomes. Provides leadership in the translation, analysis, and utilization of patient satisfaction data, nurse satisfaction data, and nurse sensitive indicator data. In conjunction with hospital and nursing leadership develops hospital wide strategic plans for improved patient satisfaction, improved nursing satisfaction, and improved nurse sensitive quality outcomes indicative of a Magnet and service excellence driven culture. **PAY RANGE:** $89,500-$125,500 _*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ **Auto req ID:** 15750BR **Job Requirements:** 1. **Education/Experience (minimum required)** **:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.Master’s degree in nursing required. 2. **Experience:** Minimum of 5-7 years clinical experience and progressive leadership experience in Nursing At least two years of clinical experience leading a team to Magnet designation or re-designation. Experience with writing an initial designation document or a re-designation document• Previous experience in data management, creating graphs, and outcome performance management 1. **License/Certification Required** **:** Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State; Certification is required in nurse educator, clinical nurse leader, or nursing administration should be earned when eligible. Certification in AHA BLS Preferred. 2. **Skills** **:** Computer experience required.
