We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department in providing exceptional care to our residents. Key Responsibilities:

 

Leadership & Management: Direct and manage the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of care in our rehabilitation and long-term care facility. Policy Development: Implement and update nursing policies and procedures to enhance resident care and operational efficiency. Staff Collaboration: Promote effective communication among nursing staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all nursing practices meet local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Resident Care Coordination: Develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each resident. Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate knowledge of best nursing practices and clinical guidelines to enhance team performance. Documentation Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all medical records and documentation. Recruitment & Training: Participate in the hiring, orientation, and ongoing training of nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence. Adaptability: Maintain flexibility in your work schedule to meet the evolving needs of our facility.

 

Qualifications:

Current New York State RN license required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings. Proven experience in staff training, leadership, and clinical supervision. Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate care. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a nursing team.
