Director of Nursing
**This is a full time Nursing Director position with oversight of Medical Surgical departments at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.** The Director of Medical/Surgical Services is accountable for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care provided to our PCU, Surgical, Medical, Observation and Swing patients. The Director accepts ownership of own work and is responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer. The director plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates care and staffing for the patient care units. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), this position is accountable for strategic leadership of one Medical Surgical department. Responsibilities include meeting regulatory and national standards, employee development, conflict resolution, capital and operational budget development and resolution/coordination of departmental operations with other departments within the medical center. The director is responsible for supporting the Hospital's mission statement and planning for the provision of patient care within this patient population. The incumbent will support the CNO in a highly diverse range of responsibilities, including growth and development of this service line's ability to respond to a rapidly changing complex market. **Benefits include:** Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k match & more. **Requirements** **Licenses/Certifications:** Missouri RN license **Experience:** 3-5 years Medical Surgical experience.
