We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to oversee the daily operations of our detox facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing subordinate personnel, providing nursing care, and ensuring the well-being of our clients. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
+ Hire, supervise, schedule, and evaluate subordinate personnel.
+ Supervise detox personnel.
+ Provide basic nursing care and monitor clients' medical status.
+ Evaluate the physical needs of each client and identify priority problems as required by medical protocols.
+ Provide for the physical, medical, and emotional needs of all clients.
+ Communicate effectively with other staff members.
+ Ensure all staff are appropriately trained in the care of chemically dependent persons and persons with mental illness.
+ Ensure staff remain current with required agency and licensure mandated training as well as JCAHO standards of care.
+ Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to address physical needs in clinical treatment and at the point of discharge.
+ Document all interventions as indicated.
+ Report common physical complications related to addiction in adults.
+ Work cooperatively in a group/team setting.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in behavioral health care.
+ Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
+ Ability to make sound and timely decisions.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Strong clinical skills.
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in discharge planning.
+ Experience in social work and behavioral health.
+ Experience in chart review and social services.
Work Environment
The Director of Nursing will work on the clinic side rather than in the hospital. The position offers PTO while on contract as well as paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00
Paid time off, 401k match, performance annual raises.
