Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate leader to join our dynamic healthcare team as the Director of Nursing at University Retirement Community CCRC in Davis, CA. The DON will oversee all health programs and services in our 37-bed, 5-star Skilled Nursing Facility. Our diverse team includes valued nurse leaders such as the Director of Staff Development, Infection Prevention Nurse, and MDS Coordinator. What You’ll Be Doing You will oversee all health programs and services in the Skilled Nursing Facility, directing the day-to-day functioning of nursing practices in compliance with current rules, procedures, and regulations. In this role, you’ll inspire and mentor a talented nursing staff, implement healthcare practices, and ensure the highest standards of care, all within a supportive, balanced environment that prioritizes your well-being. About You Registered Nursing license (RN) from an accredited nursing program, college, or university. Working knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding Skilled Nursing Facility operations. Associate degree in nursing or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two (2) to three (3) years of leadership experience in a healthcare environment. Current and valid CPR certification. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
