Job Summary

\n

The Director of Nursing plans, directs, and syncs nursing and clinical services at Baylor Scott and White Health. They manage patient care across various healthcare facilities. The role involves shaping and communicating clinical targets for nursing units and aligning with overall patient care goals. The Director is accountable for providing high-quality, cost-effective patient care within their designated area.

What You'll Do

\n\nOversee nursing services and propose both strategic and operational plans.\nTrack daily productivity and address any deviations from established standards.\nProgress goals for improving quality.\nInvestigate unfortunate incidents and partner to improve patient care.\nConduct clinical assessments.\nEnsure all nursing services are compliant with legal and regulatory guidelines.\nDevelop metrics for monitoring performance.\nFacilitate communication within the department.\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n\nEDUCATION - Bachelor's, Master's very highly preferred\nEXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience\nCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)\nBasic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitate (CPR): BLS or CPR Required.
