Job Summary

\n

As Director of Nursing, you oversee nursing practice in various healthcare settings we manage. You'll focus on inpatient and outpatient units in multiple facilities, utilizing your clinical expertise effectively. Your scope includes patient care areas like social services, ambulatory care, cardiology, respiratory, rehab, pharmacy, emergency medicine, nursing. You will set goals for nursing units. Goals will align with patient care goals. You will create and implement clinical protocols, nursing policies, and patient care models. Initiatives to improve nursing quality will be led by you.

What You'll Do

\n\nOverseeing nursing services within your designated area within our organization.\nDeveloping and executing operation plans for the nursing services that align with the organization's business goals.\nKeeping track of daily performance, adjust when necessary to maintain set productivity standards.\nPartner on quality improvement goals for your unit.\nCommunicate effectively with senior management and quality councils.\nExamining any adverse occurrences, dissecting data and findings, recognizing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.\nWorking alongside non-nursing departments to establish procedures and deal with issues to enhance patient care and satisfaction.\nParticipating in regular clinical rounds to identify patient needs through room, care environment, and safety rounds.\nEnsuring your area of clinical care complies with all legal, regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements.\nDesigning and implementing metrics, reports, and tools to monitor service delivery and identify areas for improvement and further learning.\nCoordinate with nurses, physicians, managers to improve patient care. Promote communication within department for safety.\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n\nEDUCATION - Bachelor's
\nEXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
\nCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
\nBasic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitate (CPR): BLS or CPR Required.
