+ POSITION SUMMARY:
+ The Director of Nutritional Services is responsible for leading all aspects of food service operations at Finger Lakes Health’s Geneva, New York campus.
+ QUALIFICATIONS:
+ EDUCATION:
+ Minimum:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Service management or related field.
+ Preferred :
+ Master’s Degree;
+ Courses in food and nutrition, personnel management or supervisory training
+ LICENSE:
+ PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
+ Preferred:
+ Certification as a Dietician or Dietician/Nutritionist in New York State
+ WORK EXPERIENCE:
+ Minimum:
+ 5 years of food service experience with at least three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in a food service setting
+ Preferred:
+ Food service management experience in a healthcare setting is strongly desired.
+ SKILLS:
+ Minimum:
+ Must have a proven track record of developing and implementing programs that have resulted in customer service improvements and a high level of customer satisfaction.
+ The candidate must possess strong financial and project management skills and be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and enhance teamwork through effective role modeling.
+ The position requires excellent coaching, communication and organizational skills.
+ He/she must be familiar with NYSDOH and other food service regulations.
+ Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
+ Preferred:
+ Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Power Point.
Salary Range: $85K to $115K annually depending on experience
