You will be aligned to the Tipper Tie Product line and responsible for managing manufacturing operations at 2 facilities in Apex, NC. As our Director of Operations– you will report to the President of the Division. You will have direct reports to include: managers of Safety, Quality, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement. On a given day, you may: You will manage performance through the development of short and long-term operating goals. Set standards for safety, continuous improvement, quality, cost reduction, and production efficiency. You will be responsible for financial performance. You will develop the leadership team. Requirements for the role Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Business, Engineering, or technical field Required. 10+ years of increasingly responsible manufacturing experience and direct management experience. Direct experience building and instilling a "the best" operations environment. Experience developing Lean practices and measurable actions plans for manufacturing improvement Experience leading supply chain and planning Experience applying Lean Methodology principles within manufacturing Collaborative management style which builds teamwork culture. Experience financial principles for operations, including firm understanding of cost, inventory, and P&L. Background in industry standard safety processes.
