The Crème de la Crème curriculum involves frequent rotation, which creates lower student to teacher ratios, leading to happier staff and a higher retention rate.Primary and Enrichment Teachers work side-by-side to move our children through lessons in art, second language, coding & robotics, culinary arts, and creative movement.Each of our facilities provide multiple play areas for children to engage in learning and fun: a library, an indoor and an outdoor play area, and depending on the location, a bowling alley or water park.We offer all of our employees ongoing education through annual in-service training, professional development, and online training.

As a Crème de la Crème Director of Curriculum, you will spend your days:

Ensuring Crème de la Crème’s curriculum and philosophy is implemented daily by Crème Team Members.Reviewing, amending (if necessary) and approving all lesson plans, therefore validating they are developmentally appropriate.Assisting with verbal and written performance evaluations of Crème Team Members within 30 days of due date.Providing necessary curriculum for teachers on a timely basis.Maintaining and adjusting Team Member’s work schedules and class rotation schedules.Maintaining compliant employee files per Crème de la Crème and State regulations.Assisting Executive Director with interview process and evaluate classroom interactions of all qualified teacher applicants.Developing, implementing and tracking teachers’ individual training plans and professional goals.Scheduling and review developmental assessments for children.Overseeing and assist in the conducting of parent teacher conferences.Supporting implementation and ongoing use of LifeCubby.Auditing and reviewing content of LifeCubby to ensure quality and consistency.Assisting student transitions ensuring developmentally appropriate decisions and clear communication to parents.Assisting Executive Director in conducting written Team Member annual performance reviews.Generating and direct ongoing training and role modeling for teachers.Conducting new Team Member orientation and training ensuring new employee is prepared to succeed.Temporarily assume duties of any vacant position as necessary.Conducting facility tours and guide families through the enrollment process maintaining a minimum of 40% tour to enrollment conversion.All other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
