Director Of Operations - Heart Care
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is now hiring for a collaborative and experienced **Director of Operations for the Heart Institute and Hospitalist Program.** **Position Summary & Highlights** **:** + The Director of Operations has responsibility ranging from day-to-day operational workflow, development of services, and development of relationships with internal and external customers, financial management and participation in strategic planning. + You will report to the Vice President Operation, for SAMG with direct reports of Practice Managers for the assigned areas of the physician network. + You will have a Dyad relationship with the Medical Director team and partners with the Executive Medical Directors regarding strategy for the clinics. + The Heart Institute practices include 100+ staff including cardiologists, surgeons, APPs, Practice Managers, Nursing Manager, Nursing Supervisors, and clinical and support staff primarily in Boise and Nampa, and 10 outreach clinics in the Treasure Valley, Cascade and Sun Valley. + Heart Institute services include: Atrial Fibrillation, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure and Transplant, Heart Surgery, Preventative Lifestyle Clinic, Rehabilitation, Structural Heart Program, Women’s Heart Care Program, and Vascular and Endovascular. + The Hospitalist Program includes Hospitalists at the Boise Regional Medical Center including Pediatrics (Ambulatory Pediatric physicians rotate) and contracted Hospitalists at our Nampa Medical Center, a total of 56 providers (not FTE). **What Will You Do** **:** + Successfully execute the established plans and the services for the areas of responsibility within the physician network through analysis, measurement and monitoring, reporting, and adjusting the direction, allocation and utilization of available resources. + Facilitate and manage team culture and performance through the effective use of process improvement techniques, business and financial knowledge and skills, and interpersonal communication. + Effectively build positive and productive relationships with physicians and providers that promote working together on strategic, financial and operational goals. + Work collaboratively with clinic and departmental medical staff leadership in the strategic and daily operations of the clinics or departments. + Develop assigned aspects of the organizational strategic and tactical plans in concert with planning processes lead by SAMG Senior Leadership. + A list of full responsibilities can be provided.
