Director of Partner Operations

Job Summary:

The Director of Partner Operations plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the success of our strategic partnerships with industry-leading vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, and NetSuite. This position is responsible for overseeing the operational framework that supports these partnerships, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and maximizing the value derived from these relationships.

The Director of Partner Operations works closely with the US Partner Leader and various business stakeholders to craft a comprehensive strategic plan that outlines our partnership goals and objectives. This position is instrumental in translating this strategic vision into actionable plans, driving implementation, and ensuring successful execution across all operational facets.

The Director of Partner Operations focuses on the development, implementation, and ownership of processes that enhance partner engagement and operational efficiency. This includes managing partner funding programs, supporting co-sell strategies, and maintaining proactive involvement in partner ecosystems to stay abreast of industry changes and updates.

Leading a dedicated team, the Director of Partner Operations fosters a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence. This position also coordinates with offshore resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, thereby enabling our organization to achieve its strategic partnership goals.

Job Duties:

Develops and implements strategic plans for partner operations in collaboration with the US Partner Leader and other business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and driving growth through strategic partnerships Leads the execution of strategic initiatives designed to enhance and strengthen relationships with key partners such as Microsoft, Adobe, and NetSuite, ensuring that these partnerships contribute positively to the company's success Takes ownership of all aspects of partner operations, including the creation and management of efficient processes that support partner engagement and operational excellence Manages and optimizes partner funding programs, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support mutual goals and drive co-sell strategies Oversees the operational aspects of co-sell strategies, ensuring that collaborative selling efforts with partners are executed smoothly and effectively Collaborates with offshore resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless day-to-day operational execution, maintaining high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency Leads and manages a dedicated team focused on partner operations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement to achieve operational goals Provides guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their professional objectives Engages in partner ecosystems to stay informed about industry changes, updates, and trends, ensuring that the company remains competitive and well-positioned within the partner landscape Builds and maintains strong, productive relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment of goals and fostering mutual success through effective collaboration and communication. Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Develops, manages, and mentors a team of strategic partner operational support staff

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, required 

Experience:

Seven (7) or more years of experience working in strategic partnerships or alliances, required Five (5) or more years of experience working with Microsoft, required Deep expertise of partner programs, operations and alliance activities, required Experience with other strategic partners such as Adobe, NetSuite, or UiPath, preferred Three (3) or more years of managing people, preferred Experience working within a professional services environment, preferred

Software:

Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel, required Experience with client relationship management systems (CRM), preferred

Process-driven with strong critical thinking skills  Strong time management and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Drive to work in a deadline-driven environment while contributing to multiple projects simultaneously to accomplish desired results  Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills Ability to develop interpersonal and client service skills Ability to understand and communicate BDO business, marketplace, and value proposition  Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented, matrix environment

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.   National Range:  $125,000 - $150,000 Maryland Range: $125,000 - $150,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $125,000 - $150,000
