We are seeking an experienced Director of Patient Services to lead our patient care initiatives and drive excellence in patient-centered services. This is a key leadership role dedicated to enhancing patient satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with the highest healthcare standards. The Director of Patient Services will oversee the patient care team, guiding them toward delivering compassionate and high-quality care in alignment with our mission and goals.
Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership and management for patient services, ensuring exceptional patient-centered care.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives that drive patient satisfaction and streamline service delivery.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, including Department of Health (DOH) and Joint Commission standards.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to address patient care issues, solve operational challenges, and improve overall service quality.
Monitor patient satisfaction and quality improvement metrics, and lead corrective actions as needed.
Mentor and support the patient services team, facilitating training and professional development to foster a high-performing, supportive environment.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field; Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field is preferred.
Licensing: Active RN license in New York State is required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in healthcare leadership, ideally within patient care services or nursing management.
Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on patient and family engagement.
Technology: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and patient management software is required.
