**Job Summary and Qualifications**
We are seeking a Director of PBX for **Methodist Healthcare System** who plans, directs, and manages operations of the System PBX and Physicians Answering Group Exchange (P.A.G.E); manages department staff, budget, and equipment and evaluates delivery of services to both internal and external customers. **What You Will Do In Your Role:**
+ Manages the Communications Operators and provides them with the support, training and tools necessary for them to achieve their job and meet the department’s quality of service goals. Develops the Communications Operators through feedbacks, coaching and mentoring. Manages the daily operations regarding staffing and scheduling.
+ Identifies and evaluates emerging technical and customer issues, executes problem resolution and follow-up with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Ensures all physicians utilizing P.A.G.E. have a valid contract for our services. Coordinates with Physician’s and their offices to ensure that their needs are met. Works with Legal, Compliance, Physician Liaisons and Accounting on Physician’s Answering Group Exchange processes and contracts. Conducts 3rd party market analysis on other Physician’s Answering Group Exchange to assure P.A.G.E.’s pricing and services are competitive with market.
+ Plans, prepares, and administers annual budget. Monitors budget monthly to assure department stays within set budget.
+ Works with managers, directors and senior leadership throughout the system to ensure that the needs of the client organization have been met.
+ Actively seeks ways to enhance the direction of the Communications department services to improve the overall quality of service to all MHS departments. Remains proficient with technology and employ new technology wherever possible to decrease operating expenses and maximize efficiency and quality of services.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Five years of management experience in a similar position.
