About the Role:
The Director of Platforms & Infrastructure is responsible for managing our IT, Platforms & Infrastructure, and Engineering team members. The Director is also responsible for working with our business stakeholders to identify and implement technical solutions to solve unique business problems through the use of systems integration, automation, and custom software development. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations and will manage a team of approximately 7-10 direct reports.

Essential Functions: 

Be the lead technical architect and primary technical resource for the team

Work in an Agile environment with key stakeholders to drive strategic projects

Understand key business processes and recommend solutions to automate and improve customer experiences for our students and internal stakeholders

Actively participate and contribute to refining our solution delivery methodologies through team collaboration

Set scope, objectives, deliverables, and timeline for projects in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and Business Stakeholders

Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing technical solutions and business process automations

Ensure consistent documentation of systems, processes, and solutions developed and/or managed by the IT, Platforms & Infrastructure, and Engineering team members.

Provide leadership for and participate in the activities of the IT team, including:

Configure, customize, integrate, and perform system administration duties for Google Suite,  Slack and other cloud-based business systems 

Provide leadership for and participate in the activities of the Platforms & Infrastructure team, including:

Overseeing the management, customization, organization, and maintenance of our two CRM systems, Zoho and Salesforce ( >100,000 records)

Perform systems administration duties for Zoho and Salesforce

Provide leadership for and participate in the activities of the Engineering team, including:

Write custom workflows and automations to ease burden on team members and automate tasks and data flow

Manage flow of data between several disparate cloud applications by building and maintaining low/no-code integrations and custom outside integrations

Some coding and scripting for system automation and integration

Other responsibilities as needed based on project requirements

Experience and Requirements:

Technical Skills/Experience

General system administration, preferably administering a CRM like Zoho or Salesforce

5+ Years Experience

Working experience developing, maintaining, and supporting workflows, forms, and system integrations using CRM products, preferably Zoho CRM and/or Salesforce

Experience working with version control systems, preferably Git

3+ Years experience 

Working with relational databases

Writing software using C#, Java, Node JS, Ruby, Python, or comparable programming language

Architecting and implementing low/no-code solutions

Developing, maintaining, and supporting complex low-code solutions, preferably Zapier, Google App Scripts, Google Forms, and Azure Functions

Cloud infrastructure management, preferably with Azure and/or AWS

Application containerization

Application monitoring and alerting

Eata backup and recovery processes

Eliciting requirements and testing

Interacting with REST APIs via HTTP requests

Using SQL

Willing to occasionally travel to campus locations and for occasional seminars and events

Preferred Additional Experience

Experience working with Zoho APIs (particularly CRM)

Experience writing shell scripts with a language like Bash

Experience administrating cloud servers on services such as AWS EC2

An understanding of database design

A functional understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript for front-end development

Experience working with Google APIs (particularly Sheets)

3+ Years experience architecting and developing Azure solutions

1+ Year experience working with Azure Data Factory

1+ Year scrum master experience

This is an office- or home-based position.  The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light foot traffic).  

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.  Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate the salary range to be $93,328.50- $209,368.80. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
