About the Role

It is an exciting time to join the Operations team within HP Solutions organization!

The Director of Portfolio Enablement will lead global teams responsible for designing and launching solutions, processes, and systems for customer& Partner offerings across multiple HP business units.​ This leader will be responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities that span all business units in HPS. Each business being unique and requires a highly skilled, experienced leader to navigate, influence and drive meaningful results.

We are seeking a special talent with proven skills in overseeing the development, implementation, and governance of product service/solution portfolio lifecycle management and what it takes to successfully deliver revenue growth programs through the appropriate routes to market. Additionally, a proven track record of optimizing and driving best in class new product and solutions introduction practices to improve quality and reduce time to market and time to revenue.

This leader will be empowered to influence strategy and direction through ownership of a significant number of measurable functional, operational, and strategic goals or priorities. To do this, it’s key to bring a solid background in strategy and strong business acumen. They will be a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business.

The role works with large, cross-functional teams to facilitate projects and collaborates across businesses to align strategy with organizational goals. 

This role reports to the Senior Director of HPS Operations. They will collaborate with senior stakeholders at the SVP level, teams of Senior Managers and Directors, and have a direct staff of Senior Managers and Principals.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and spearhead the conception, planning, execution, communication, and delivery of the organization's undertakings within the purview of responsibility across the entirety of HP.Direct the overall performance of a diverse range of service products, solutions, technologies, and business segments, which constitute a significant portion of the total business.Serve as a thought leader and influencer at the most senior levels within HP. Drive effective engagement with executive leadership across HP Solutions and HP.Facilitate communication and collaboration across the teams and functions to understand their unique needs and challenges as they adopt the product operating model. Work collaboratively and effectively across a global matrix organization to build alignment and ensure successful execution. Lead initiatives to drive best in class process enhancement and policy development that impact services segment management function on a sub-regional or regional scale, while also extending guidance on service programs of the highest complexity.Guide the progression and implementation of strategic choices and organizational policies, identifies consequences of decisions on a regional or global scale, offering pertinent remedies and avenues for enhancement.Drive the execution of the new operating model across launch teams.Drive standardization and tooling for the creation/curation artifacts for the launch process to save program managers time, provide a level of consistency across the business units, and improve the quality of stage gate artifacts. Define and drive ongoing launch management process/tools MOC training across organizations. Define and measure the outcomes/OKRs for the operating model and launch management operations. Deliver analytically rigor and data-driven insights to support actionable strategic recommendations, business prioritization, and business strategy communications. Provide strategic guidance for investment prioritization and resource allocation. Formulate, oversee, and execute the budget with rigor, anticipates fund requirements and monitors expenditures to the dollar for a sizable and complex business.Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the team members on the operating model principles, practices, and tools. Perform talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development to empower a “Future Ready” team.

Education And Experience Required 

BA required, MBA beneficial 12+ years of experience in service business management, delivery, solution architecting, business planning, or a related fieldExperience leading global teams and People ManagersProject Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Change Management knowledge or certifications beneficialExperience in technology industries strongly preferred 

Location

This position can be based remote within the continental US or this position can be located within our Spain offices.

Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $167K to $230K annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
