**Description**
**THE ROLE**
Assists clinic management in providing leadership, direction, and administration of Family Healthcare Center operations to ensure accomplishment of objectives. Works with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Responsible for all identified outcome measures as denoted on Performance Assessment.
+ Directs, supervises, coordinates specific functions and activities of clinics as requested including accounting, materials management, human resources, data processing, maintenance and support services.
+ Assists in the selection, employment, development and management of employees. Responsible for clinic personnel policies and practices.
+ Promotes the provision of cost-effective, high-quality care services.
+ Cooperates with medical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
+ Reviews operational problems/policies and recommends solutions and changes to clinic management.
+ Assists in preparation and implementation of budgets. Recommends funding based on thorough knowledge of policies, costs and operating procedures.
+ Recommends clinic facility improvements including construction, renovation, and purchase of equipment.
+ Interprets center and departmental policies, objectives and operational procedures to center staff. Resolves problems related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment and supplies.
+ Represents clinic at public and professional meetings and conferences as requested.
+ Participates in clinic communication and public relations programs.
+ Coordinates, as requested, committees of the clinic, including physician advisory committees.
+ Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep pace with the trends in health care administration.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration
+ Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information
+ 3 years of experience in health administration, including 2 years in a clinic environment
+ Knowledge of health care administration and clinic philosophy, and policies and operating procedures
+ Knowledge of fiscal management systems and techniques
+ Knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development
+ Knowledge of governmental regulations and requirements
+ Knowledge of computer systems and applications
+ Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision making skills in developing effective relationship with staff, board, clients, regulators, and the public
+ Skill in organizing goals and objectives
+ Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
+ Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and to monitor quality standards
+ Ability to communicate clearly
+ Requires some evening and weekend work
+ Up to 80% travel, overnight stays possible
+ Must have personal vehicle.
