Director of Pricing & Revenue Management

The Director of Pricing & Revenue Management will spearhead efforts in driving profitability and revenue ambitions. This role includes oversight and cross-functional collaboration across strategic activities including (but not limited to) pricing, promotions + deals, menu and loyalty. 

This role will lead: pricing strategy and architecture, drive offer / promotion strategy and guidance, as well as provide franchisees pricing guidance and governance based on internal, competitive, and market data. This role will lead the long-term revenue-driving strategy to maximize franchisee profitability, working alongside the Marketing, Food, Data & Analytics, Operations, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy Development: Lead the Revenue Management team, ensuring alignment with company goals. Devise robust revenue management strategy and vision for holistic revenue management framework and levers. Pricing Strategy, Execution & Communication: Establish a differentiating pricing strategy, aligned with the corporate strategy, that drives profitable growth. Ensure consistent communication and execution of pricing strategy with all stakeholders and effective execution. Lead annual franchisee pricing guidance, alongside ad-hoc review with franchisees based on pricing architecture, competitive and local market insights, and revenue maximizing actions. Maintain leadership & strong communication with third party pricing partners to deliver business outcomes. Promotional Excellence: Ensure all promotional efforts are priced to be effective, standardized, and optimized for maximum return. Cross-functional Synergy: Cultivate strong relationships with cross functional teams (including Marketing, Finance, Product, Technology, Loyalty and Data/Analytics), ensuring alignment in strategies and fostering a collaborative environment. Market Research & Trend Analysis: Maintain a deep, comprehensive understanding of the restaurant market, consumer trends, macro-environment and competitive landscape. Stay ahead of industry shifts and competitor pricing moves to ensure leadership position. Forecasting & Reporting: Provide visionary leadership in sales and revenue forecasting driven through the pricing strategy, ensuring all teams have the metrics and insights required.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA strongly preferred. 10+ years of revenue management, pricing or analytics experiences in QSRs, restaurant, retail, food & beverage, or similar industry Proven leadership skills and the ability to positively influence others to promote change and achieve enterprise objectives Proven track record of proactively leading and driving key strategic initiatives, including ability to integrate inputs from across the organization Superior analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience overseeing teams in using advanced data analytics and tools. Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities in response to dynamic market environment and organizational needs. Exceptional communication and presentation skills including management of executive-level stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills Experience working with large data sets and associated analytics tools/techniques (SQL, Python, R, SAS, Alteryx, Tableau etc.) Strong organization building skills, including team building and establishing cross-functional relationships, with ability to build skills in direct reports, and to motivate and manage team members

Salary Range: $­­155,700 to $183,300 annually + bonus eligibility and stock-based compensation. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
