Director of Privacy Strategy

In support of our growth into the, healthcare privacy compliance space, we are seeking an experienced Director of Privacy Strategy with a deep passion for driving innovation and improving compliance outcomes by leveraging cutting-edge healthcare technologies. This role will focus on building value-based relationships with healthcare leadership and Privacy teams, providing actionable insights on investigations of privacy violations including reporting to regulatory agencies. Understand and communicate privacy program activities for the healthcare system, and position Bluesight software as a key enabler for streamlined workflows. As a trusted advisor, you will serve as a subject matter expert on patient privacy, compliance, and the controls and safeguards to ensure privacy, with the ability to engage decision-makers across various levels of the organization.Representative Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Relationship Building: Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare C-suite executives, Compliance, and Privacy leaders. Become a go-to resource for expertise in healthcare operations and technology.Sales Enablement and Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to deliver compelling value propositions and help close new business by clearly demonstrating how Bluesight’s solutions address critical pain points within healthcare settings. Support the development of strategic business plans that align with revenue goals.Client Consultation and Best Practices: Offer consultative guidance to healthcare institutions by sharing best practices for optimizing healthcare operations and Privacy workflows, compliance with regulatory standards, and improving operational efficiency through technology adoption.Thought Leadership: Position yourself as a thought leader in the healthcare industry by creating and sharing insightful content on privacy and compliance operations, regulatory updates, and innovative trends. Speak at industry events, conferences, and webinars to elevate Bluesight’s brand and influence.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Bluesight’s product development team to relay client feedback and market demands, driving continuous innovation and product enhancements that meet the evolving needs of hospitals.Legislative & Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed on current and emerging trends in healthcare privacy regulations, including compliance, program requirements, and overall healthcare policies affecting compliance operations.Customer Success & Optimization: Provide ongoing support to clients by optimizing their use of Bluesight’s full product suite, ensuring they achieve maximum ROI, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.Required Skills and Qualifications:7+ years of compliance experience in a hospital or healthcare systemProven track record in implementing healthcare technology solutions to drive operational improvement and compliance within the healthcare organization.Strong understanding of industry privacy and compliance regulations.Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) Expert knowledge of HIPAA and specific regulations of the HIPAA Privacy Rule Active involvement in privacy investigations and corrective interventionsExceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers at all levels.Solid organizational & prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.Flexibility to support stakeholders across US time zones and the ability to travel up to 30% as needed.
Preferred Skills:Experience with Bluesight Privacy Solutions or similar healthcare technology platforms is highly preferred.Consulting or account management experience in healthcare technology, with a deep knowledge of the market landscape, competitors, and trends.In-depth knowledge of the intersection between privacy, compliance, and healthcare IT with the ability to offer innovative solutions tailored to client needs.Proven ability to function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a customer-first mentality.$105,000 - $120,000 a yearThe standard base pay range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000  when annualized. In addition to this competitive base salary, the DPS position is also eligible for commission-based incentives. Salary offered will vary based on experience, performance, and location.
