We are looking for a Director of Processing to join our Operations team. We are looking for an organized leader who is comfortable leading by example, while operating from a bird’s eye view. Beyond producing high-quality loans and managing priorities, our goal is to build a product that will ultimately reduce the cost of homeownership in America. To do this, we need you to wear many hats, ranging from a visionary redesigning the needlessly complex mortgage process; a data analyst uncovering how to make the most impact; to a problem solver working with highly skilled engineers and industry experts to resolve technical and operational challenges. We are looking for an experienced and proven leader that is comfortable managing people and driving measurable results. ResponsibilitiesLead our USand India-based Processing team Provide coaching and feedback to improve the processing workflow, efficiency, and problem resolution Provide leadership and direction to create high-performance across all Processing Managers Oversee cross functional responsibilities across Processing and work closely across departments Manage strategic initiatives & come up with new processes that drive efficiency Coordinate best in practice for analyzing all necessary financial information and documentation Manage and monitor overall performance metrics and pipeline management Manage business unit priorities and achieve long term goals Act as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional leadership to create efficiencies and drive growth QualificationsMust be located in the Irving, TX, Troy, MI or Irvine, CA areas5+ years of experience processing FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and Jumbo mortgages 3+ years of management experience Strong understanding of purchase, refi, and 2nd lien products Knowledge of agency conventional underwriting product guidelines Familiarity with Desktop Underwriter (DU) & Loan Prospector Advisor (LPA) Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Comfortable overseeing cross functional responsibilities including processing, closing, and operations Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment Experience thriving in a high-volume production environment Proven ability to build and scale teams, the drive to build something new Management and personnel development experience Company Benefits
