Director of Producer Commissions and Incentive Payables

Primary ResponsibilitiesLead the producer and administrative incentive commission/compensation process Review quarterly draw reconciliations and periodic Earnout calculationsLeverage technology for continued automation within department processesTrain and guide a team of 5 seasoned commission analystsOversee inquiries from all commission recipients including investigation into “missing” commissions, revised rates, shared business, etc.Oversee sub-ledger to general ledger account/dimension reconciliationsPartner closely with producers, agency unit leaders, divisional leaders and others within the organizationReview Asset Purchase Agreements to determine optimal producer profile requirementsReview producer & broker commission reports to ensure the accuracy of rates and compliance with commission agreementsReview producers & brokers book of business after system conversion for accuracy of rates & codesPrepare ad hoc management requests
QualificationsBachelor's DegreeRequired Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting, insurance industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThorough understanding of the insurance brokerage industryExcellent supervisory and analytical skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to motivate staffRequired Proficient in Microsoft ExcelExperience in Applied EPIC, BenefitPoint, & Oracle NetSuite a plus.
