OPPORTUNITY AND ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product - Pricing, the Director of Product - Pricing , will drive client and internal business value through modernizing our pricing processing including establishing the pricing domain and architecture for automation which will lay the foundation for the next phase of product growth for an already world class product. They will develop the short to midterm strategy and be responsible for its growth, adoption, and expansion of capabilities.
In this high visibility role, it is critical that this role can tell a compelling narrative and set clear goals, all while pulling together the required product, tech and business teams across the organization in order to do so. This will start as a high level individual contributor role, but will be expected to mentor, lead, and develop other product managers and, eventually, manage a team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
+ Develop, lead, and evangelize the product vision and strategy that incorporates business, product and organizational goals
+ Prepare and deliver comprehensive communications to convey product vision and how it aligns with enterprise strategy
+ Bring strategies to life through writing requirements and prioritizing those requirements into actionable roadmaps
+ Identify the missions necessary to realize our short-term strategic goals and to galvanize our teams to deliver the associated impact
+ Set key deliverables and success metrics (SLAs, OKRs) and work with engineering to deliver against goals
+ Removing roadblocks so that product delivery teams can focus on delivering the desired impacts without friction
+ Support Ticketmaster’s domain driven design principles globally across various systems and marketplaces.
+ Formulating clear and coherent business cases to practically assess optimum investment options
+ Create buy-in for strategies and roadmaps to deliver features and to deprecate existing components
+ Drive standards and accountability and foster a community of data-informed decision-making.
+ Gain a deep understanding of internal & industry products, identify & fill product gaps and generate new ideas that support the effectiveness of our growing product management community including mentoring other Product Managers
+ Utilize trends and knowledge of the competitive landscape to identify gaps in current products
+ Develop a sufficient understanding of technical context to help make better, faster decisions, and work closely with engineers on solutions
+ Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for api-based products and distributed systems
+ Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, api, and/or products

+ The ability to craft a narrative – breaking down complex problems and challenges, articulating an appropriate story to each of your internal and external stakeholder groups to achieve buy in, trust and ensure the necessary impact is delivered by your teams
+ The aptitude to set out a clear vision – understanding the bigger strategic picture and how each of the missions plays a part in achieving our objectives. Able to reduce unnecessary noise to keep focused on continually delivering impact to shift those levers
+ A listening ear - building strong ties across the global organization to maintain a Product voice and presence. In return able to provide first-hand transparency of priorities and progress
+ Proficiency in making the tough calls – able to critically assess asks, wants, needs and make tough calls on what we will do, what we won’t do and in what priority those problems will be tackled
+ The capacity to elevate the role of Product within the organization, from a service provider to a strategic partner that continually identifies and drives impact
+ A finger on the pulse – staying informed and abreast of both the ecommerce and ticketing landscapes. Constantly learning from what’s going on around us and making astute product judgements to guide our path forward
ABOUT YOU
+ Exemplary interpersonal, presentation, written, and oral skills; respected leader with strong emotional intelligence and empathy.
+ Strong attention to detail, highly analytical, with a focus on problem-solving and critical thinking.
+ Proven ability to prioritize, lead multiple concurrent projects, balance competing needs, and adjust approaches in ambiguous situations.
+ Experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management in fast-paced technology environments.
+ Comfortable with modern tech architectures, including domains, event-driven architecture, and real-time high-availability systems, while also ability to slay monoliths
+ Self-motivated, creative, and collaborative, able to lead change and achieve results independently or in teams.
+ Ability to think holistically and connect the dots between enterprise level tools and end user experiences; Experience improving user experiences and advocating for change
+ Basic hands-on programming knowledge
+ Experience delivering technical presentations
+ Good understanding of domain-driven design and data modeling
+ Experience with defining and tracking SLA, SLI and SLO

$149,000.00 USD - $187,000.00 USD
