The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $149,625 to $219,450 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:This Is What You Will Do:
Responsible for the overall success of the Quality organization in the Americas that can provide quality support across multiple teams and functions.
Taking advantage of known or unknown synergies and focusing on excellence in execution for Dematic projects in the region.
Successfully defines workflows, reporting relationships, processes and collaborating cross-functionally to drive results and meet the global quality and regional execution team KPIs.
Develops and manages the regional budget, resource plan and business plans in conjunction with the Global Department Leader
Ensuring best-in-class quality and continuous improvement across suppliers, operations, manufacturing, customers, projects, management systems, etc.
Monitors, reports, and presents key results and challenges to Quality executives; recognizing trends to gauge current and future performance and obtain optimum effectiveness within the region to prepare strategic plans.
Working collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, and the project teams within our business to support stakeholders and ensure projects are being delivered on time and following our quality standards and metrics.
Troubleshoots and resolves most complex quality problems within multi-departments areas and present solution to internal stakeholders and Dematic customers.
Drives process measurement initiatives, including scorecards and other metrics, which can also be used to drive process improvements.
Shares best practices across the project team and/or the business segment.
This Is What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Preferred 15+ years of relevant Quality experience.
Preferred 7+ years of leadership experience in high growth, fast-paced environment; demonstrated leadership capabilities that align with Dematic and KION Core Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, and Excellence.
Demonstrated ability to act in a leadership capacity developing and implementing business/quality processes and strategies, preparing department budgets and personnel plans, leading multiple exempt-level employees and/or other managers.
Experience in managing the quality of multiple large scale complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in developing ISO compliant globally integrated Quality Systems
Relevant experience in the use of improvement tools such as Lean, SS, 5S, Value Stream/Process Mapping, Kaizen, Design of Experiments and/or other similar tools.
Proven experience driving an effective corrective action system.
Ability to travel approximately 25-35%.
Must exhibit excellent communication and facilitation skills, both oral and written.
ASQ and /or PMP certifications is a plus.
