Role Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a collaborative team, overseeing projects from early-stage through the entire product development lifecycle Technical expert in liquid biopsy/cancer detection diagnostics Product development and Verification and Validation expert with solid knowledge of industry regulations for IVD/LDT Collaborate cross-functionally with informatics, software, operations, quality, clinical, and commercial teams to launch high quality and robust diagnostic products Identify opportunities for product innovation and provide strategic leadership on product and process improvements Communicate effectively and manage expectations with the leadership team Align solutions-driven approach with Natera's momentum in the market to elevate its standing, while maintaining strict adherence to legal and compliance standards.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field plus 15 years of experience in Biotech or BS/MS plus 20 years of experience in Biotech Proven track record as a lead in developing and commercializing diagnostic tests (IVD/LDT), with technical expertise in oncology Previous experience managing R&D teams Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements in the medical diagnostics field, including FDA regulations and CLIA standards Strategic thinking and innovation Cross-functional collaboration Project management Risk assessment and mitigation in product development Ethical decision-making in healthcare innovation The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
