Job Type/Status: Full-Time 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides supervision of Recovery Specialists and Patient Navigator;

Communicates regularly with State Opioid Treatment Authority and New Jersey Program Manager for the OORP program

Stays familiar with community resources including 12-step and other self-help groups, & refers clients as indicated

Participates in Program and Center performance improvement activities.

Develops individual treatment plans which are goal directed for OORP, MWRAP, OHH, and CPRC clients

Provides individual, group and family therapy to OORP, MWRAP, OHH, and CPRC clients with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders 

Work collaboratively with other recovery support agencies who have sub-contracted our recovery support for Warren County.

Attend weekly meetings with respected agencies and collaborate in a team effort.

Supervise Recovery Specialists from MWRAP, OHH, STAR and any other recovery support program that has been assigned. 

Insures coordination of clinical functioning of the program with other internal programs, the Center's Medical Director, and with external programs and agencies

Ensure team utilizes early relation health model provided by Center of Great Expectations

Participates in quality improvement activities within the program and participates in agency-wide quality improvement activities, as directed

Evaluates staff on a regular basis, both formally and informally, and participates in the hiring and termination process of program staff

Represents the agency and the program at various professional and other meetings;

Ensures that staff is oriented to and operates according to established agency and program procedures

Completes and submits reports in a timely manner

Meets with supervisor on a regular basis

Provides direct clinical care as follows:

Develops comprehensive holistic assessments of adults with SMI and co-occurring disorders; involves family members as indicated.

Develops individual and family focused treatment plans and WRAPs, which are goal directed; involves family members as indicated.

Provides individual, group and family therapy to adults with SMI and co-occurring disorders. 

Coordinates treatment and discharge planning with other Family Guidance Center services.

Coordinates treatment planning and discharge planning with referral, collaborative and after care service provider entities, and family members whenever possible. 

Completes evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.

Completes evaluation and service outcome reports to be submitted to DMHS on a timely basis.

Stays familiar with community resources including 12-step and other self-help groups, and refers clients as indicated.

Participates in regularly scheduled program meetings and attends scheduled administrative/clinical meetings.

For self and staff, takes responsibility for professional development, for meeting licensure    requirements and for maintaining licensure. 

Other duties as assigned including: 

Clinically supervise SHE (IOT-SEI) Program Staff: Program Clinician Case Manager, Peer Recovery Specialists, Doula (50% F2F supervision, rest in weekly tx team meetings)

Supervise SHE Driver

Monitor timecard approval system, approval of vacation, sick etc. for all SHE, OORP, MWRAP, CPRC, OHH staff

Approval of conferences for staff as well as ordering of supplies, expense reports

Monthly reporting to DCF (by the 5th of the month)

Tracking/stats on program referrals, admissions, discharges

Review of charts, sign treatment plans/NJSAMS

Sign off on CADC and LCADC intern notes.

Board and Staff Report each month for SHE Program

Medicaid point of contact, responsible for 3-month audits

Medicaid responsible for providing corrections to audit concerns

Keep track of billing, LOCI updates for Medicaid authorizations

Point of contact for DCPP, and all SHE Program intakes and referrals (e.g., hospitals and community)

Caseload and all clinical aspects including SAI reporting, DCPP reports, Probation Reports, treatment plans, closings/admissions in NJSams and CareLogic, work with psychiatric staff to coordinate care

Work with staff to create systems within program

Weekly Drug Court Meetings

Run weekly SHE Program Treatment Team Meeting 

Conduct Monthly meetings with DCPP at DCPP office


REQUIREMENTS: 

Master's degree (from an accredited University) in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related behavioral health field licensed for practice in New Jersey 

New Jersey license to practice independently

Minimum 3 years experience including clinical and supervisory work in mental health and addictions.
