Director of Recruitment Shared Services

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and stakeholder expectations, develop, and maintain credible relationships with key business stakeholders, develop effective recruitment strategies, and provide specialist recruitment expertise and guidance to translate the strategy into recruitment plans.

• Manage, guide, and coach the workforce management team in the People Hub in India to deliver on the recruitment operating model, processes, and KPIs.

• Monitor and develop the capabilities of the team by supporting their technical and personal development.

• Design, test, and implement processes and solutions that may not be in place yet. Identify continuous improvement opportunities with cost-effective solutions that deliver effective recruitment services.

• Orchestrate Synergy using the Global Sourcing , Operations and Recruitment Delivery to drive success within regions

• Work effectively with the heads of functions across all regions.

• Manage Multiple Regions: emphasizing the importance of managing multiple regions, demonstrating cultural sensitivity, possessing a strong understanding of cultural differences, and adapting management style and communication approach accordingly.

• Be a key part of the regional HR leadership team and take responsibility for the center. This includes an early careers team (including STEM outreach activity), a contingent worker team, a talent attraction team, and an experienced hire team based in Bangalore.

• Provide guidance to the HR Operations team to ensure employment offers are prepared and delivered in an accurate and efficient manner. Understand diverse employee stakeholder groups and local employment legislation within regions and adapt recruitment service delivery to ensure compliance with local laws, processes, and policies.

• Manage the delivery of recruitment services in line with business priorities and budgets. Develop effective relationships with regional partners to understand local challenges and deliver seamless service.

• Negotiate agency vendor terms for hires in conjunction with the regional supply chain. Establish and monitor service levels; mitigate as required.

• Monitor and improve on existing KPIs and SLAs.

• Utilize the recruitment system to support the recruitment process, monitor progress, and provide regular business updates to the senior leadership team. Establish and manage recruitment reporting, and provide meaningful management information to all levels of stakeholders.

• Building efficiencies and automation in the process.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in the areas of human resources management or business administration, combined with strong years of experience in commercial organizations

• Track record of success in global recruitment.

• Demonstrates the ability to manage remote teams and work remotely in general.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Results and customer service orientation while working with a multicultural audience spread across different time zones.

• Self-directed and able to take ownership of activities and drive them through to successful completion.

• Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands and deadlines.

• Experience managing HRIS systems and implementing process improvements.

• Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with the ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture

• Thorough knowledge of reporting and analytics.

• Maintain a positive team atmosphere through motivation, orientation, and training, along with mentoring, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, handling escalations, and decision-making abilities will be key to success in this role.

• Be an experienced people manager who can own, develop, and measure candidate and hiring manager experience.

• Champion recruitment compliance and governance in line with our group requirements.

• Support global projects that originate or are championed in the region and share best practices across our regions.

• Be accountable (as part of a global team) for the continuous improvement of our applicant tracking system (Workday) and career portals.

Added advantage:

• Exposure to multinational companies and working in matrix relationships would be a plus.

• Experience working on varied HR systems like Workday and Beamery will be hugely beneficial.
