Director of Residential Technology & Business Intelligence
Position Overview
This role will be responsible for driving the strategy, implementation, and optimization of CRM systems and processes that empower the sales team to effectively engage with customers, close deals, and foster long-term relationships. The Director of RTBI will manage a cross-functional team, including a System Administrator, User Experience Specialist, and Developers, to ensure the CRM tools and systems are fully optimized to meet the needs of the sales organization. In addition, this role will involve close collaboration with IT teams and other internal groups that integrate their technology into the CRM system to ensure smooth functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ CRM Strategy and Alignment: Develop and lead CRM strategies that align with the sales team’s goals, improving customer acquisition, retention, and overall sales performance. Ensure CRM initiatives are integrated into the broader sales enablement strategy.
+ Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a cross-functional team consisting of a CRM System Administrator, User Experience Specialist, and Developers, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective execution of CRM initiatives.
+ CRM System Oversight: Oversee the implementation, customization, and ongoing management of CRM platforms , ensuring the system is tailored to the sales team’s needs and driving sales efficiency.
+ User Experience Optimization: Work closely with the User Experience Specialist to ensure the CRM interface is intuitive and user-friendly for the sales team, identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhancing usability.
+ CRM Integration & Development: Collaborate with the Developers to ensure the CRM platform is integrated with other sales and marketing systems, ensuring smooth data flow and automation of workflows.
+ Sales Enablement Alignment: Work closely with the sales leadership team to understand the sales process, pain points, and requirements, ensuring the CRM system supports all stages of the sales funnel and improves sales productivity.
+ Training & Adoption: Lead training initiatives to ensure the sales team is proficient in CRM usage, driving adoption and maximizing the platform’s capabilities.
+ Analytics & Reporting: Leverage CRM data and analytics to provide insights on sales performance, customer trends, and opportunities for optimization. Use these insights to make data-driven recommendations to the sales leadership team.
+ Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine CRM processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, increase automation, and enhance CRM effectiveness for the sales team.
+ IT Partnership: Establish a strong partnership with IT to ensure CRM systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with the company’s overall technology infrastructure. Collaborate with IT teams on system integrations, data management, and addressing technical issues.
+ Cross-Department Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with other internal departments, such as marketing, customer support, and product teams, to ensure their technologies and tools are effectively integrated into the CRM. Work closely with these teams to streamline processes, align on data strategies, and ensure a unified approach to customer engagement across platforms.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. (Master’s preferred).
+ 7+ years of experience in CRM management, sales enablement, or sales operations, with a strong understanding of CRM tools (Salesforce, Showpad, etc.).
+ 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams (including technical roles like system administrators and developers).
+ Strong background in implementing and optimizing CRM systems for sales teams, with a proven track record of driving sales performance through CRM initiatives.
