As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that enhance profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction. In this leadership role, you will manage all aspects of the sales function, build long-term client relationships, and empower your team to achieve ambitious property sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies that maximize revenue while meeting or exceeding established financial targets. Annual Strategic Plan: Create and oversee the execution of the property’s Annual Strategic Plan, aligning goals with broader business objectives. Lead Generation: Manage lead sources to ensure both quantity and quality of leads align with revenue goals. Client Engagement: Conduct sales calls with key accounts and major prospects to build and maintain relationships. Performance Monitoring: Analyze and report sales activity and performance, providing accurate variance and projection reports to management. Revenue Management: Collaborate with Revenue Management resources to optimize decision-making and maximize revenue potential. Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and professional growth. Associate Engagement: Drive team engagement through effective leadership, clear communication, and regular performance feedback. Qualifications 10+ years of hotel sales experience, with 5+ years at a Director or Executive level in a high-end luxury resort preferred. Extensive knowledge of sales strategies, revenue management, recruiting, and team development. Proven ability to translate customer needs into tailored sales solutions that drive results. Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve or exceed sales goals. Excellent communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships. Ability to balance assertiveness and persuasion with professionalism.
