The beautiful Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is seeking a dynamic, creative Director of Restaurants to join their team. Located just steps away from Disney Springs, with a combined 10 food and beverage outlets this role provides an amazing opportunity.

We are looking for a hands-on leader focusing on the development of the team as well as the financial results of the operation. A proven record of progressive food and beverage management growth, ability to manage multiple priorities, and union workplace experience will round out the ideal candidate.

A Director of Restaurants is responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of multiple restaurants in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Director of Restaurants, you would be responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of multiple restaurants in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nPlan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation\nMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward\nMonitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards\nInitiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wide\nRecruit, interview and train team members\n
