Director of Revenue Management
Overview As the Director of Revenue Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the revenue strategies of Lennar, a large public homebuilder. You will lead a team of revenue analysts and collaborate with Lennar’s operating divisions to monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior and competitor actions. In addition, you will closely collaborate with the data and technology teams to co-create effective revenue management tools that facilitate the execution of the company’s revenue goals and strategies and enable you to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management. Responsibilities Develop, share and implement revenue management strategies, processes and best practices across the organization. Identify and evaluate new opportunities for revenue growth and create realistic action plans to execute on such opportunities. Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis, and track and report on key performance indicators, such as gross and net revenue, revenue components, average selling price, pace status. Translate data and insights into actionable and relevant recommendations by utilizing visualization and/or data analysis tools, presentations and other means to effectively communicate clear and concise conclusions. Lead a team of revenue enablers that provide strategic guidance and change management support to Lennar’s operating divisions and ensure alignment with the company's revenue goals. Prepare and present regular reports and analysis on revenue performance, forecasts, trends, opportunities, and challenges. Coordinate and communicate with other departments, such as technology, data and analytics, digital marketing, sales, finance, etc., to ensure alignment and integration of revenue management objectives and actions. Lead, coach, and motivate the revenue management team, and ensure they have the skills, tools, and resources to perform their duties effectively. Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the revenue management field and leverage new technologies and tools to enhance the revenue management capabilities and processes. Process Improvement – Ability to evaluate and analyze an end-to-end process in order to diagnose inefficiencies and make recommendations to implement changes. Technical Skills – Expert Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Experience utilizing a business intelligence platform a plus. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, finance, statistics, or related field. MBA or comparable work experience is preferred. 10+ years of experience in revenue management, or other comparable role. Strong understanding of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and sales optimization techniques. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing revenue-generating strategies in an enterprise-level organization. Proficiency in data analysis, utilizing revenue management systems, and leveraging technology to drive revenue growth. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. Passionate, proactive, and innovative, with the desire to learn and grow in the revenue management field. Willing to travel to our various operating divisions and regions between 25-50% of the time. This position is Exempt from the Wage and Hour overtime provisions of FLSA. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.
