Director of Revenue & Reimbursement
Overview: We are seeking a Full-Time Director of Revenue and Reimbursement reporting to the CFO to work in our Finance department located at our Headquarters in White Plains, NY. The Director of Revenue and Reimbursement has overall responsibilities for managing billing, accounting and reporting for revenue from various funding sources including grants and program service revenue. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office work 3-4 days per week. The compensation range is $135,000 - $140,000 per year. Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Supervise a team with both internal and outsourced financial staff (12 FTE including 3 direct reports). + Ensure that revenue from various sources including grants (Federal, State, Local, Foundation) and program service fees (mainly Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance) is properly billed, collected and reported. + Support analysis and reporting of revenue trends for internal management and board reporting. + Prepare financial reports to government and philanthropic funding sources. This includes preparing/supporting preparation of the NYS Consolidated Fiscal Reports (CFR). + Ensure effective use of financial and billing systems. + Work with grants finance team, program and development staff on the preparation of grant budgets and billings for funding sources. + Manage reporting calendar and ensure timely reporting to internal and external parties. + Support annual financial statement and CFR audits and periodic audits by funding sources including newly awarded NYS Medicaid PPS rate funding in the 4 mental health clinics. + Develop and or update policies and procedures related to the role’s duties. + Other duties and special projects as needed by the CFO. Requirements: We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications: + College degree in accounting, finance or related field. CPA preferred + At least 10 years of overall professional experience with significant expertise in financial management and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in a non profit organization with a budget of $45 million or higher with multiple government and private funding sources (including grants and/or medical billing) + Experience with NYS Consolidated Fiscal Reporting (CFR)_ + Detail oriented with management experience of a team with both internal and outsourced financial staff. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a busy department with multiple responsibilities and deadlines. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to train and develop staff + Strong experience with financial systems and reporting such as Intacct (or similar system), medical and grant billing systems, Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint + Valid NYS driver’s license and a vehicle.
